Rachael Willeke, MT-BC became the Director of Music Therapy Services in August of 2021 after launching her career with West Music in 2006. From the beginning Rachael has had an interest in making SoundReach the best they can be.
Rachel Burchett, MT-BC is the Assistant Director of Music Therapy and an Internship Director at West Music. In Rachel’s 10 years with the Iowa City SoundReach Choir she has introduced new initiatives into the program, including student & intern directors, an accompaniment rock band, and virtual gatherings between seasons called “SoundReach Singalongs”!
SoundReach choir was one of West Music's initial programs offered by their first music therapist. Started in 1994, SoundReach is a choir for adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
